MCLE AND CCLS CREDITS
Mt. Diablo Legal Professionals Association is proud to offer continuing education to the legal community. MDLPA offers MCLE and CCLS credits at some of our general meetings, as well as at workshops, seminars, and conferences. Our newsletter, the Quid Novi, and our website's Calendar of Events offer information on upcoming events throughout the year.
Members of this Association are bound by the standards of conduct required of the legal profession and the objectives of Legal Secretaries, Inc.
LSI CODE OF ETHICS
It shall be the duty of each member of Legal Secretaries, Incorporated, to observe all laws, rules, and regulations now or hereafter in effect relating to confidentiality and privileged communication, acting with loyalty, integrity, competence, and diplomacy, in accordance with the highest standards of professional conduct.

Geoffrey Steele, Esq.
Mr. Steele is an Associate Professor at California State University where he teaches classes in litigation, real property law, legal research and writing and business associations. He is an active member of State Bar of California State Bar of California Rules Committee (Northern California), the Litigation and Real Property sections, as well as the past president of the Contra Costa County Bar Association's Pro Bono section and the Business Law and Corporate Counsel section. He sits on the Board of Directors of The Law Center, The BAR Fund, The Contra Costa and Solano County Food Bank Food From The Bar Committee.

Mt. Diablo Legal Professionals Association
The Mt. Diablo Legal Professionals Association ("MDLPA") received its charter from Legal Secretaries Association (California), now Legal Secretaries, Inc. ("LSI®") in January of 1969. Like LSI, MDLPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational, professional, and personal development programs to its membership, consisting of attorneys, legal assistants, paralegals, legal secretaries, legal administrative assistants, court reporters, law office administrators and anyone in a law-related profession.
